Chereads / Overpowered System! / Chapter 111 - The Tribulation Committee's Decision.

Chapter 111 - The Tribulation Committee's Decision.

Once the game was over, his body seemed to reappear where it left from.

The sky was still the same as it was a day ago.

Above him, there were clouds forming as the sun scorched the earth in Weston. He hadn't been here for what felt like years.

However, he was now at the World Sovereign stage, and felt his body was swelling with power.

….

At the tribulation committee, a defiance rank candidate named Lie Wei Ying showed up on the screen as the guard manning the tribulation station immediately disappeared from his desk.

The tribulation committee had been celebrating like they always did before the word arrived in front of them.

"Sir, we have someone who jumped from the Nascent Stage to the World Sovereign stage. He just appeared a moment ago! Also, He seems to have been out of the known universe...."

One of the three most powerful men in the room, who was surrounded by beautiful angelic women, gasped before he picked up the girl on his waist and threw her away from him.

She twisted in the air and let the momentum carry her over towards her seat. The other two girls on his lap hopped off while they shivered in fear with their wings curling behind their backs.

"Its him… isn't it?" Fate said while an image of a small boy appeared in front of him.

The guard nodded his head causing Fate to stomp his foot against the ground.

"AAHHHHHHH! What kind of luck does this boy have? I thought he was doomed to be damned for 21 lives. Who did this, and why has his luck changed so much!"

The woman next to him pat him on the back. "Listen, Fate, I think you've drunk too much. Perhaps you're forgetting you're not the only one in charge in the known universe. It could have been the gods of death, and it could've also been one of the other monogods. You have nothing to—"

Fate put his hand to her mouth. "You don't understand… This has never happened before. No boy has ever grown out of fate like this. It's almost as if I let him live, he'll change all of us."

The three lords of the tribulation committee were Fate, Destiny, and Chorus. The last of the bunch was trying to calm down Fate at this moment, however, her delicate hands were shaking as she felt Fate reaching into her soul.

"I like you Chorus, but you're not like me and Destiny. You don't have your entire power depending on the line of fate connecting the universe!"

Chorus sighed before a small yet hard to hear tone starting playing through the room. All the maidens that were lounging around waiting to be called over instantly fell. That feeling on her soul dissipated before she swatted away his hand.

"You are overestimating him. All three of us together would slaughter him even if he was a monogod. Are you forgetting we have what he doesn't?"

Fate shook his head before he looked over at the guard.

"Destroy the Monarch World if you have to. Unleash the Cataclysm machine and permission to Terraform is granted. Do everything in your power to kill him!"

The guard nodded his head before he disappeared out of the room as quickly as he came.

Talking in the room ceased right after that conversation. In fact, the three rulers of the committee, and their henchmen of the third realm's east stars, flew over towards the guards post.

At this time, the entire universe was being aimed at Lie Wei Ying.

….

Lie Wei Ying sat down just a moment ago.

He was already well aware that the tribulations he deserved would be coming any second. After all, in the game, he got so many warnings about it. So, the first thing he did was activate [contemplation mode.]

"…"

"Congratulations, you and the overpowered system are now in complete synchrony. Please tell him what you'd like to try and figure out."

Lie Wei Ying smiled hearing the mechanical ramblings of S.O.P. "I'd like to learn how to use transcendent energy as soon as possible."

He had, after all, only reached this stage just moments ago, and would need time to catch up on the laws and other aspects that went with his realm.

He closed his eyes before he found himself in the darkness behind his eye lids. For the first time since he reincarnated, he truthfully tried to contemplate the laws and the Dao. It was a fascinating feeling that he hadn't experienced in a while. Yet, unlike before, it was almost as if he was on one of those legendary Cultivation Matts made from the Wisdom of gods.

"A-Ah,I see it… It's beautiful," Lie Wei Ying said as he started to hear the lightning crackle above him.

The clouds seemed to be turning around in a myriad of ways. All the animals around Lie Wei Ying were starting to flee at their fastest speed.

The cataclysm coming was just the start.

The gods were planning 500 major disasters to strike at Lie Wei Ying from all dimensions around him.

He ignored it as he reached further for that feeling.

'Yes, its truthfully everywhere, but its not something that can be touched. You can only command it and let it become a part of another existence. By unleashing it, you truly reach for the heavens, and can tear down the stars.'

He smiled before he opened his eyes and looked up at the bizarre looking clouds above him.

They were, surprisingly, still normal. However, when he focused his eyes he noticed some clouds way off in the distance. He drew out his blades before he realized this would not be a tribulation of the earth. This time, he would have to deal with space.

The Tribulation Committee seemed to have decided to forgo their plans after watching Lie Wei Ying contemplate. Rather than striking him with a worldly trail they decided to give him the Heavenly Kind.

It was quite common in the second realm to have to deal with cosmic bodies attacking you. This, for instance, was a cosmic body that was forming in the first realm. Truthfully, such a thing was not supposed to be possible, however, Fate went out of his way to allow the anomaly.

At this moment, they weren't the only ones watching.

There was also the chancellors of the universe biting their nails in nervousness of this operation failing. Once this boy got even a tiny bit stronger, they'd have no choice but to wait until he ascended to the second realm to strike again.

Yet, they all began to worry as they noticed the gigantic energy gathering around the small boy's body. They all hoped, all the higher ups in the universe, that he'd die without them having to send out their troops.

Regardless, the tribulation was about to start, and they'd have to find out once it passed.

…..

A few seconds after Lie Wei Ying opened his eyes once again before he spotted something beaming towards him. It was nearing the speed of light from a million miles away.

His eyes could make it out perfectly, but his mind couldn't believe it.
