Chapter 11 - Beauty Not Appreciated Is A Sin!

"Son of a bitch!"

Jack teetered on the brink of madness. The guards swiftly intervened, preventing him from making any regrettable moves.

It took around ten guards restraining him before Jack managed to regain his composure.

"Sir Kiba, enough," Carole interjected, positioning herself between them. "Let's not discuss the incident with Lady Agatha."

Jack had already suffered one beating. She had no intention of witnessing a repeat performance.

"I'm the innocent party in all this," Kiba retorted. "Jack was the one tarnishing my reputation. I was merely highlighting how unjust it is for people to malign me when all I'm doing is aiding those in need."

"I'd prefer if you refrained from mentioning Lady Agatha in your conversations," Carole reiterated firmly.

Jack took a deep breath, knowing he couldn't afford to lose his cool. If he wanted to thwart the date between Kiba and Carole, he had to tarnish Kiba's image.

Jack signaled to Richard, who understood the message instantly. Richard couldn't stand the thought of Kiba winning over a woman like Carole.

Although he had Eva, for someone like him, the more the merrier. However, he couldn't tolerate his woman being involved with others, even if they weren't technically his.

"Carole, you can't go on a date with Kiba," Richard addressed her directly.

"Sir Richard, I wasn't aware I needed your permission regarding my personal life," Carole retorted, tired of men's nonsense. She had no interest in being objectified or fought over like some prize. She had her own ambitions and dreams and refused to be confined to the role of someone's woman.

"You misunderstand me. I'm simply cautioning you against Kiba. He's not relationship material," Richard clarified. "He's known for sleeping with married women and participating in orgies. He might have been with someone's wife or girlfriend just before arriving here."

Eva, standing behind Richard, blinked. She couldn't help but smile at his words.

"You clueless fiancé, you have no idea how right you are!" Eva thought to herself.

Quickly masking her smile, she reverted to her usual persona—shy and reserved, the epitome of femininity.

"Not to mention his history of infidelity. He's notorious for juggling multiple women simultaneously," Richard continued, seeking to bolster his case by highlighting Kiba's sordid past. "How can you consider dating a man who knows nothing of loyalty?"

"........"

"He's the epitome of a womanizer! Every woman should steer clear of someone like him!"

Carole remained silent. She was well aware of Kiba's scandalous reputation. Her decision to go on a date with him was made after careful consideration of all the facts.

She was mature enough to understand the man she was dealing with. Besides, it was just a date, not a marriage.

"Hey, Richard! Are you forgetting I'm here?" Kiba interjected with a smirk.

He wasn't bothered by Jack and Richard's words. He had made advances toward Carole on numerous occasions, so their opinion of him held little weight. Carole was already aware of his affairs and reputation.

However, that didn't mean he would let Richard and Jack off the hook. He might tolerate criticism from a woman, but from men, it was a different story.

"Tell me, what harm have I done by assisting women in need?" Kiba challenged Jack and Richard.

"Assisting women in need?" The audacity of Kiba's shamelessness left everyone stunned.

Is having an affair with someone's wife considered assisting a woman in need?

Is dating multiple women simultaneously considered aiding those in need?

How could someone be so shameless?

You're nothing but a womanizer!

"Every woman desires to be appreciated for her beauty," Kiba responded respectfully. "I express my appreciation through lovemaking."

Carole: "....."

"Is there a greater way to demonstrate admiration than through love?"

Carole: "...."

Kiba sighed deeply, wearing a solemn expression as if burdened by the world's misunderstanding.

"Beauty unappreciated is the greatest sin of all!"
