Zed's cellphone rang suddenly.
"Hm?" Zed opened his cell phone and was pleasantly surprised by a message on the screen. It was from Claudia, giving him details on Jessica's blood scan. When a student joins the academy, they will have their blood scanned by the academy to study DNA.
Claudia hacked into the academy server years ago, so for her, this was a very easy task. The analysis Claudia did on the DNA report was far more advanced than what the academy was capable of. Except for the world government and a few mystic organizations, there was no one with more expertise in the field of mutant research than Zed and Claudia.
"Jessica, I meant what I told you! Felicity agrees with me on this as well!" Zed put the cellphone back. Felicity nodded in agreement.
Jessica felt her eyes turning moist again, but this time it was due to happiness. She was touched by their gestures.
