Peng Hu tried to crawl forward, in hope that he could reach Kai and save him but his body did not respond to his command. A drowning sensation was overwhelming Peng Hu, impeding him from taking any step forward. It had been a while since Peng Hu had felt this sort of feeling... the kind of feeling that he had experienced back in the days when the bullying were getting harsher during school time... a feeling were his limbs were getting numb and his mind shivering from the consequences that would happen if he were to follow along with his plan. It was fear.
[Please... I beg you... please, move...] Peng Hu was begging his body to move and do something about what was in front of his eyes. The helplessness made him feel all sort of emotions: sadness, rage, sorrow... Tears were starting to form in his eyes.
[Please! Kai is my friend! He helped me when it was all over... I have to do the same for him...] not wanting to hear any more pleas from its owner, the body gave a grim reminder to Peng Hu, showing him flashbacks from the betrayal of his ex-best friend.
[Stop... stop showing me these! These memories has nothing to do with Kai!]
*ugh* *uwa...* Peng Hu couldn't take the bullying his own body was making him go through. Luckily, his own mind was still his own and couldn't bully him or else, his entire body was so shameless as to defy the owner of it.
"A pity. I had hoped that you were a different kind of person from what we gathered. It seems that you were the right choice being our scapegoat. Farewell, Pen Who." said the hooded person. He couldn't bear to watch the painful struggle Peng Hu was going through.
The hooded person was starting to move farther away from Peng Hu. Peng Hu couldn't bear to watch the events unfolding in front of him. If he could decide between death and letting Kai being kidnapped, he would choose death. It was just that somewhere along his life, the body became weak while his will was still the same.
[Please...] and then, Peng Hu closed his eyes.
As if there was nothing else that could make the situation worst than it was already, a flying debris from a fight nearby flew towards Peng Hu's location, crashing all over.
____________
[... Why are you here? How interesting.] said a voice.
Peng Hu slowly opened his eyes and saw a sea of darkness engulfing all around him. A voice was speaking inside his head.
"Who... are you? Am I dead this time for real?" asked a confused Peng Hu.
[I have been watching your struggle...] said the voice, not paying heed to the questions Peng Hu just asked.
"Are you... God? Please... help me!" said Peng Hu. If there was any slim chance that he could redeem himself, he would lower himself no matter what.
[Since you are already here... why not? But it has a price...] said the voice with a cheeky tone.
"I will do whatever you want." said a determined Peng Hu. Peng Hu was prepared to accept any kind of ridiculous demand the voice had in exchange for help.
[I need you to change the world. Make it interesting.] slowly said the voice.
"What...?"
[What... is that supposed to mean?] thought Peng Hu.
