Tsang!
The screeching sounds of glass breaking pealed throughout the room.
The window, being made out of glass, shatters from that damage entirely, making the whole screen fall apart.
Now a portal, what emerged from the shattered window was... A squirrel.
Rodent-like creatures. With soft brown fur all the way to its fluffy tail down to its strong hindlegs, the creature appeared delicate, seemingly fragile, yet its eyes reflected intelligence as its gaze encompass the entire room.
Using its limited perception and wisdom, it senses no danger ahead, very soon, its small build enters the room.
It scoots about on the floor then it went to climb, slowly it approaches, then it peaks its head up from the edges of the bed and squeaks.
A tiny, soft and quiet squeak echoes from its tiny mouth. And in its eyes, it sees, a young man laying his body on the bed.
The young man lays there, eyes close seemingly in a deep sleep. His right arm was incased in bright light that was dazzling and golden. And in his hand grips a big sword that was black and lustering.
The squirrel climbs up even more, very soon, it reaches itself onto the young man's face. Its delicate paws carefully step on his soft skin, careful not to wake him up. But it seems he wouldn't wake even as its whole body was stepped on. This relieves the squirrel, then next, with its limited wisdom, decides to gamble its life and death at its next attempt.
It climbs up, approaches on its forehead, then using its paws, it opens the young man's right eyelid, revealing his eyeball that had gone dizzy from sleep.
Then it raises its paw up high, trembles in trepidation, then musters all its strength at this very moment, it slams down its paw and strike the eyeball.
What came next was a painful scream that echoed throughout the building, a scream so anguished that the victim demanded the reasons for his pain... Which did not happen.
Trembling all over, the squirrel scurried off as its small build dashes up to the window from whence it came... But comes to a halt halfway and looks back and sees that the young man had not, by one bit, jolted from pain like it had expected.
He didn't even grimace. And only looked sleepier than dead.
Perplex, a question mark floats above the squirrel's head. Supposing that it was endangered by the consequences but to its astonishment, the young man seemed unperturbed by the shock driven into his eye.
Slowly and warily, the squirrel returns to the young man with its trembling legs ready to soar away when needed. But it seems that its worries are unfounded as the young man continues his slumber without a care in the world.
After a few painfully shocking procedures, the squirrel had deemed that the young man was harmless as a squirrel which made it trouble on what it should do next.
The squirrel went back to the window and gazed outside. It suddenly waved its cute little forelegs and squeaked loudly as it could. Then very soon, a horde of squirrels had entered the room with their vast numbers.
In total, there were about fifty of them. All similar in appearances without a hint of individualism.
One of the squirrels squeaked aloud before the crowd. It seems as if it was issuing commands to the others as it squeaks and squeaks and eventually, every one of them squeaks in unison.
Then the horde scatters and assembles on the left side of the bed. All their arms pushed against it, and with all their strength, they pushed the bed towards the window right side of the room.
The bed was ridiculously light. Almost as if it wasn't made of wood but instead of metallic feathers. Thus, it was far easy for the squirrels to push until the bed had rammed against the wall.
Then the horde climbed up with vast numbers. All of them scattering and assembling on all sides of the young man. Then, they go drill their bodies under the young man's body, and after which, all the squirrels with all their muscles, in sync and in unison, hoist the young man up and carried him with their backs.
The young man... Was surprisingly weightless despite his build. Almost as if he ate nothing but air to become a humanoid balloon all his life. Which, made it easier for the squirrels to carry him away.
Once they did, what they did next was heave and ho, heave and ho. Then...
Threw the young man off the window.
Something thudded beyond the portal and it sounded painful enough to warrant an irk. But it didn't matter to the horde as they looked down and saw the young man had fallen from the second floor down to the gravel ground... Without a scratch.
The horde was just about to skillfully climb down the window when suddenly, the door opened ajar, revealing two young men in fancy robes.
The two young men were just enjoying a conversation until they opened the door and saw the numerous squirrels by the windowsill and were shocked in disbelief.
The horde also stared back at them, similarly shocked and skeptical. And a second later, the horde scurried off like a tsunami of squirrels, all heading down outside in haste.
"What... The heck..."
Pretty soon as all the squirrels had gone from the room, one of the young men was so shocked that words were troubled to exit his mouth. The two immediately approached the windowsill and received the shock of their lives.
The squirrels, having assembled from their scattered formation, took Wang Xie using their numbers, and hurriedly scampered into the forest.
Soon enough, they disappeared from their eyes under the shadows of the trees.
"This... What... Just happened..."
The scene bewildered them greatly. It was because it was so unbelievable that if they didn't see it for themselves, they would've refused to believe it.
As if woken up from a dream, they immediately realized the absurdity of the situation.
"Oh no! What do we do?! We were supposed to take elder brother Wang to sect leader, what are going to do?!"
"... I'm going after them. You go report the situation to the sect leader."
Just when one the young men was about to jump from the window, "wait!" his companion hurriedly beckoned.
"What should I tell sect leader. Surely, he won't believe that squirrels took him, right?"
"No, your worries are unneeded. Just tell sect leader what you've seen, he'll believe you without a complaint."
"And what makes you think he'll actually believe me if I told him?!"
"... Squirrels concern the history of our sect... No matter. Just hurry off and report! I'm going after them now."
Without further ado, the young man jumped away from window and landed skillfully on the ground. He dashed forth with a stomp and soon disappeared into the forest.
"Sect leader will believe me, huh?"
The young man who was left in them room, smiled wryly to himself as he imagined of how absurd he was going to look if he reported this to his superiors.
"Why is the world so cruel..."
He complained ungratefully.
