"Brother Yinan, did the caller give you his name?"
"No…" Qin Yinan added after a pause. "He was succinct. He merely mentioned that you had fallen into the water and were recuperating on the eastern side of the lake before hanging up."
"Thanks," Song Qingchun replied before going silent. Looks like this mystery person doesn't want me to know his identity or else he wouldn't have used a public phone to call Qin Yinan without even leaving his name.
Qin Yinan noticed Song Qingchun had gone awfully quiet, so he prompted, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." Song Qingchun only managed to squeeze out one word before there was a knock on the door.
Song Qingchun quieted down as Qin Yinan turned toward to door to ask, "Who is it?"
There was no answer, so he stood up and walked to open it.
