During a rare total eclipse, young Hana Tsukishiro witnesses a shower of brilliant petals and discovers a mysterious brooch shaped like a cherry blossom. Upon touching it, she awakens as the Sakura Warrior, heir to an ancient power tied to the balance between light and darkness. 

Hana soon discovers that the legend of the Sakura Eclipse is not just an old tale—it seals away a terrifying being known as Noctis, the Shadow King, who threatens to consume the light of the world. Together with other chosen warriors, each tied to a phase of the moon, Hana must learn to control her floral powers and prevent darkness from overtaking the Earth. 

But as the eclipse approaches again, secrets about the origin of this power are revealed, and Hana discovers that light and darkness may be more intertwined than she imagined.
