Every screen in the world falls dark one day, and in its place is a terrifying message: "Where is Void, Naught Shade? Come on, let's compete. You have my f*cking attention."
Void answers. Simple criteria apply: the player with the most kills over the course of three months wins. Then there was quiet. The world's two most feared killers, Naught Shade and Void, have just announced a lethal game.
 Their challenge causes panic because there are no records, no identities, just murmurs. The world watches in horror as the first kills are shown live.

In a desperate attempt to stop them, governments lock down cities, but the worst happens: criminals, thrill-seekers, and imitators swarm the dark web, making murder a sport. An clandestine blood sport is fuelled by a covert network that keeps tabs on the growing number of fatalities. However, this was not the intention of Naught and Void. They have to get rid of the imposters tainting their game as anarchy breaks out. But as the last month draws closer, a startling realisation sets in: they have unwittingly selected one another as their ultimate objective. 

The crucial question still stands when the murderers eventually cross paths: will they finish the game or is there a higher power at work?
