Seki Yamamoto, a former elite assassin known as "KAGE," has traded his life of killing for dealing in information. However, he finds himself trapped in a web of obligations and desires to return to his previous, simpler life.
When Yakuza lieutenant Tanaka tasks Seki with finding Aiko Nakamura, a skilled hacker, Seki is drawn into a dangerous conspiracy. Aiko possesses a data chip containing information about "Project Chimera," a deadly bio-weapon developed by the powerful and corrupt businessman, Kaito Ozawa. Ozawa wants Aiko silenced and the chip recovered.
Seki rescues Aiko and takes her to a secluded cabin in the mountains, a remnant of his assassin days. They form an alliance, with Seki vowing to protect Aiko and expose Ozawa. Aiko reveals the horrifying nature of Project Chimera and the extent of Ozawa's influence.
They must now evade Ozawa's relentless pursuit while planning to expose his crimes. The plot revolves around their escape, their growing trust, and their determination to bring Ozawa to justice. Seki will have to utilize his old skills, and Aiko her hacking abilities, to survive and dismantle the dangerous project. The story is a blend of action, suspense, and the themes of redemption and fighting against corruption.
