"The world's fate was decided long ago, when a prophecy foretold the coming of an unstoppable darkness. An ancient order, the Guardians of Light, stood against this evil and, in a final, desperate bid, managed to trap it away.

But the victory was short-lived, as the Guardians fell one by one against the evil's relentless onslaught. Their leader, Arin, was the last to stand. With his final breath, he chose to split the entity into seven parts, rending its power and leaving but a husk of what it once was.

Arin then sealed each fragment of the evil's power into seven sacred items, imbuing them with the essence of the Guardians. To ensure the items wouldn't fall into the wrong hands, Arin bound them with the blood of his fallen comrades, so that only their descendants could wield them.

This ancient bond has protected the world for centuries, but I fear that the moment of truth is fast approaching. The seals are weakening, the fragments are stirring, and the evil will soon be whole once more. The descendants of the Guardians must now rise to reclaim their birthright and wield the sacred items against the coming darkness."
