Rane was the cherished young miss of the William family, but as fate would have it, their affection deeply favoured her adopted sister. The reason was simple, as children Genna and Rane were switched at birth. Rane had lived in the slums while  Genna was raised by the Williams family.

The relentless bullying and merciless ridicule she faced took their toll, leading her down a dark spiral into depression. Friends, teachers, and family dismissed her pain, assuming she was merely feigning weakness, leaving her to suffer in silence. Instead of receiving the support she needed, Rane found herself trapped in a vicious cycle of mistreatment that deepened her despair.

Only her godmother, Jenna, seemed to grasp the extent of Rane’s anguish. By the time Jenna intervened, attempting to rescue her from the suffocating grasp of her adoptive family, Rane had become a mere shadow of her former self. The vibrant spark of life within her had dimmed, extinguished by the burdens she carried. 

Her will to fight, to change her circumstances, slowly ebbed away, mirroring her physical decline. Ultimately, she succumbed to the weight of her suffering, leaving this world with one solitary wish: she wanted to be strong so strong that no one would be able to take advantage of her.
