When Kael uncovers a plot to control the Iron Pass, the kingdom’s lifeline of trade and secrets, he ignites a proxy war between the Bloodsworn and House Kaelthar. Yet shadows from his past resurface: a hooded woman with a dagger’s smile, a childhood scar that burns in the presence of flame, and whispers that the Bloodsworn’s new prophet knows his true name.
