When Eren Harlow wakes up in the body of Raynor Velcroft, a third-rate villain from his favorite fantasy novel, The Sovereign Chronicles, he knows he’s been dealt a bad hand. Raynor is notorious for his arrogance and selfishness, and his story is one of humiliation and failure. Things take a turn for the worse when he’s expelled from the academy dorms for harassing one of the novel’s heroines, leaving him homeless and an outcast on campus.

Eren, however, isn’t like the original Raynor. Calm, collected, and determined to survive, he decides to avoid the villain’s downfall and live a quiet life. When the academy turns its back on him, he refuses to give up. Instead of leaving the school, he uses his wits—and a mysterious Survival System that suddenly activates—to build his own refuge in the forested outskirts of the academy grounds.

The system provides Eren with tools, skills, and missions to help him adapt to his new reality. From crafting shelters and gathering resources to setting traps and hunting for food, he transforms his exile into an opportunity for self-reliance. Despite his low status, Eren manages to navigate the academy’s cutthroat environment by staying under the radar, avoiding unnecessary conflicts, and keeping his new life in the woods a secret.

But staying out of trouble isn’t easy when the story’s main characters—heroes, villains, and love interests—keep crossing paths with him. With the forest harboring hidden dangers and the Survival System occasionally issuing cryptic and risky tasks, Eren must balance his desire for peace with the challenges of a world that seems determined to drag him into the spotlight.

Will Eren be able to rewrite his fate and live quietly as an extra? Or will the academy’s politics, secrets, and his new role in the story force him into the chaos he wants to avoid?
