Civilization teetered on the brink of extinction, and despair spread like wildfire. Yet, when all hope seemed lost, a phenomenon changed the course of history—a "profession system" awakened within humanity. Ordinary people gained extraordinary abilities, rising to combat the monstrous threat. Those who saved humanity came to be known as the "Heroes of Mankind."

Twenty years passed since that catastrophic event. In 2028, a new beacon of hope emerged: Kim Lan Tian Hao, a young man with a hidden class, the Thunder Swordsman. This profession, revered for its raw strength and agility, was unlike anything seen before. Humanity placed high expectations on him, and Kim fulfilled them in spectacular fashion. However, peace was short-lived. The world trembled once again as the Second Catastrophe began. This time, the threat was greater, the stakes higher, and the consequences unimaginable. As chaos engulfed the planet, Kim Lan Tian Hao stood as humanity's last hope, his every step shaping the fate of the world.But fate was cruel to humanity. The once undefeated Kim Lan Tian Hao found himself powerless against the new wave of monsters. These creatures possessed an extraordinary resistance to lightning, rendering his Thunder Swordsman abilities almost useless. In the heat of battle, Lan Tian watched helplessly as his friends, family, and countless innocents perished before his eyes.

Regret and despair consumed him. He blamed himself for being too weak, for not preparing for the unknown. If only I could go back in time... he thought bitterly. He laughed at the absurdity of the idea, mocking himself for even entertaining such a notion. What a joke! How pathetic to blame my luck when it's my own weakness that brought us here.

As these thoughts clouded his mind, the boss monster—a towering beast of unparalleled strength—appeared. With a single devastating slash, it ended Lan Tian's life, and with it, humanity's final hope faded into oblivion.

The sound of an alarm clock shattered the silence. A hand reached out to silence it. Lan Tian jolted awake, confused and disoriented. His surroundings were eerily familiar, yet different. He glanced at the date on his phone: January 2027.

Lan Tian froze, his heart pounding in disbelief. He was back in the past, younger and alive. A storm of emotions swept over him—confusion, relief, and hope. Am I in heaven? he wondered, looking around in amazement. But as the minutes passed, reality began to sink in. This wasn't heaven. This was Earth—his second chance.

Overwhelmed with joy and determination, Lan Tian opened his system window. To his astonishment, his Profession slot was unselected. He stared at it for a moment, and then a grin spread across his face.

"Humanity's last hope hasn't ended yet," he said, his voice brimming with newfound resolve. "This time, I'll change everything.
