The world of Genetica is set in a dystopian future where genetic experimentation has spiraled out of control. A global organization known as The Gene Council oversees the genetic manipulation of humans, attempting to craft a superior race known as the Homo Novus. However, the project has resulted in the creation of unpredictable genetic mutations in the younger generation, giving rise to extraordinary powers, but at a cost.

The mutant teens, called Genetica, are feared and hunted by the government, branded as dangerous and unstable. These teens have been pushed to the brink, forced into hiding or captured for use as weapons by the Gene Council. As the world’s political and social systems begin to break down, a rebellion led by these mutants is on the rise, threatening to overthrow the very foundation of society.
