Alright, Daven. You're alive. Barely. You woke up half-drowned in the ocean, washed up on some bizarre island with no idea how you got here or what’s going on. But hey, at least you’re still breathing.

This has to be some survival game, right? Any second now, someone’s going to pop out of the jungle, cameras in tow, and yell, “Surprise!” Or... maybe not.

So, here’s the plan: 

Step one—don’t die. 

Step two—find food. 

Step three—figure out why Aris thinks she’s the leader and why Alec’s face looks like he’s scheming something. Step four—survive whatever that terrifying growl was from the jungle. 

Step five—try not to freak out every time someone acts like they know more than you.

I’ve survived finals, gym class, and Aunt Linda’s cooking. I can handle this. Unless, of course, the squirrels on this island are secretly masterminds. Or worse, if Alec’s the type who’d let me starve just for a laugh.

This island doesn’t know what it’s messing with. Let’s show it who’s in charge.
