Kun awoke in an unfamiliar world, his past nothing but a hollow void. Wounded and weak, he wandered aimlessly until fate led him to the grand kingdom of Evergloam—a realm of splendor hiding deep, twisted shadows. Taken in by House Ravencourt, one of the kingdom’s four ruling houses, Kun learned the ways of nobility, swordsmanship, and leadership. Yet, whispers followed him, servants cast wary glances, and an unshakable sense of otherness clung to him.

But Kun’s life was never meant to be peaceful. Darkness lurked beneath Evergloam’s illusion of prosperity, and when betrayal struck, Kun lost everything once more. Left to fend for himself, he was found by House Duskwhisper, a family of assassins and spies, where he was reshaped into something deadlier, something hidden in the shadows.

Yet, the past never stays buried. The lost memories claw at him—the voice calling his name, the flashes of a paradise now in ruins, the overwhelming feeling that someone is waiting for him in the darkness. When he finally unravels the truth, Kun learns that he is no ordinary orphan—he is the key to a war far greater than the kingdom of Evergloam itself.

Now, trapped between two forces—one that seeks to claim him and another that seeks to erase him—Kun must uncover the truth behind his origins, the fall of the Lost Paradise, and the two Calyxius who hold the answers to everything.
