When Julia's home village was slaughtered before his eyes, and he was next, a soldier rescued him, saving his life. But this did not come without consequence. Julia suffered a life-altering ailment, and was struck with a curse, that would haunt him until he fulfilled his duty; to kill the man who saved his life.

Julia spends the next ten years desperately searching for the soldier. However, his goal is not to kill him. Instead, he hopes to prove the vengeful spirits wrong, showing them that their anger is misplaced, seeking to removing the curse.
