Nocturia - once a world full of life, fueled by rapid technological growth and a mystical power called “Arcana”. Now it has become a shadow of what it once was. It all started with the great war, and ended with a bomb. A bomb so powerful that it threw the entire world into disarray. This bomb—dubbed The Eclipse—was dropped on the once great Arcane Kingdom of Elynor. In the blink of an eye, the bomb disintegrated all life, land, and structures within a 100-kilometer radius. The shockwaves sent ripples of destruction across the planet, annihilating both Arcane cities and Modern cities that dare to stand in its way. And even then, the bomb wasn't done. As if to say one last “fuck you” to humanity, The Cataclysmic Event thrusted massive clouds of dust and radiation into the sky, triggering a nuclear winter which blanketed the planet. One by one, plant life slowly froze to death, followed by the animals, followed by the very air itself, which grew thicker and colder with each passing day, until even the last breath of warmth seemed a distant memory, trapped beneath a relentless sky of ash and ice.
 In the aftermath of the disaster, mankind’s last hope for survival lay in the city of Kaltara, a city which, through the war, had remarkably kept the harmony between the men who were blessed with Arcana, and the men who weren't. Through a barrier formed by harnessing the arcana stored within the “Mother Stone”, the city was protected from the freezing temperatures of the outside world. Within the walls of this sanctuary, the last remnants of humanity cling to survival, struggling to rebuild a broken world.
Fifty years after the destruction of Elynor, Kaltara stands as the sole beacon of hope—a haven where all of mankind live in harmony, having settled their differences after the consequences of their previous conflict.But beneath this peaceful world, something dark stirs, a sinister secret that - when revealed, could tear apart the very foundation of society and push the last remains of humanity to war once again - and one particular organisation will stoop to no lengths to expose it.
