With a sudden, jarring shift, he was thrust into a new existence, gasping his first breath as an infant in a world utterly foreign yet brimming with arcane energies. This realm was one where magic danced through the air like a living force, and creatures of myth and legend roamed the lands. Though his mind now inhabited the body of a newborn baby, his cognition remained that of a fully-formed adult, a disorienting contrast that would shape his journey from the very start.
