The princess left her kingdom to pursue merit and one day come to fight for her right to the throne when she met a dashing man and fell in love with him. They were close, until she became pregnant. He denied the first child and after the second child was sired he also denied him. He left her feeling abandoned and betrayed she went back to her kingdom to bring up her two sons who no one knew who the father was. After years and the first son was eighteen and the second fourteen war ended and the princess was to be engaged to the general who led the country to victory. 

The man who was said to be the general was the so called bastard who abandoned her and her sons and now the king had put her up to a marriage of conveniences that she could not refuse. Either marry him or marry the man who sired her sons.
