In the kingdom of Aethel, ruled by the tyrannical King Owen, tradition reigns supreme, often at the cost of humanity.  Bound by ancient laws, Owen is forced to make a horrifying choice upon the birth of his twins:  to eliminate his newborn daughter, fulfilling a prophecy that foretells doom should twins exist. This sets in motion chain of events that would challenge the very foundation of Aethel.

What happens when ancient prophecies collide with the unpredictable nature of a weakening veil? The fate of Aethel hangs in the balance, dependent on the choices of four siblings – each grappling with their unique powers, their familial bonds, and the terrible weight of a world teetering on the precipice of chaos.
