When eighteen-year-old Ryuji Takahara suddenly awakens in the body of a condemned criminal in ancient Japan, he is thrust into a terrifying world of treachery and violence. Sentenced to death for crimes he can't remember, Ryuji’s fate seems sealed—until the shogun issues a cruel decree. 
Ryuji, along with 20 other death-row prisoners, is forced into a deadly quest to find the fabled Elixir of Immortality, said to be hidden within the mysterious Tower of Eternity, otherwise called the 'Hell's Tower'. 

The Hell Tower is a labyrinth of traps, ancient puzzles, and deadly secrets, each floor more treacherous than the last. To survive, Ryuji must outwit ruthless killers, form fragile alliances, and navigate the ever-present danger of betrayal. With every step, the line between friend and foe blurs, and Ryuji realizes that the greatest threat may come from within. 

In a tower where the wrong step means death, Ryuji must decide: Is his freedom worth the price of his humanity?
