When the Spartans can't be called in, the UNSC must rely on the next best thing: Orbital Drop Shock Troopers. This team is one of many sent in to land on and essentially burrow into the Covenant vessel hovering over New Mombassa, but when it suddenly jumps to slipspace in atmosphere, the airborne ODSTs are caught in the gravitational shockwave and subsequent destruction. As a particular team struggles to reunite amidst the chaos of war, an enemy lance appears to take a personal interest in ensuring their demise.
