S’eris, a determined young Black woman fresh out of trade school, is ready to turn her first property purchase into a dream investment. But her excitement shatters when she realizes she’s been scammed—the duplex she thought she owned isn’t what she was shown, and to make matters worse, she’s not the only owner.

Tamin, a confident and enigmatic Black man, arrives claiming equal ownership of the property. Forced into an uneasy cohabitation, S’eris and Tamin are caught in a whirlwind of tension, witty clashes, and undeniable chemistry.

As they unravel the mystery behind the scam, their shared frustration gives way to a deeper connection. But can they learn to trust each other enough to fix the mess they’re in, or will the con destroy not only their dreams but also the spark between them?
