The arrival of spiritual energy changes the world we once knew. Ferocious beasts from another dimension spawned, and humanity is in the brink of destruction. Ancient humans with supernatural powers living beneath the earth are forced to emerged to battle this otherworldly threat. Thus, the era of Beasts begins. One hundred years later, a teenager named Sam Rivers arrives to this dangerous land, an ordinary 4th-year high school student who has an average cultivation talent. 

However, while browsing through the library, he coincidentally finds a mysterious crystal hidden among the books. What is the origin of this crystal? Will this crystal be the cause of his rise...or his fall?
