Tom is killed while being robbed after offering help to people he thought needed it. He reflects on the fact that he's been taken advantage of and hurt by people he was kind to his whole life. When he reincarnates in a medieval fantasy world, he vows to change his ways and make people who harm innocents pay for their misdeeds. 

Blessed with a morality system that rewards him for killing evil people, Tom decides to hunt down and kill evil people to make the world a better place for the good and the innocent.

After rescuing Princess Abigail, Tom is branded an evil wizard and accused of abducting the princess. Tom and Abigail escape into the undercity and get taken in by a kindly bar owner named Sally. Sally gets them both jobs as mercenaries.

Tom chooses the subclass of Evil Wizard titled Bone Mage. His power progression is a combination of grab-bag abilities and bone magic. Some of those grab-bag abilities are Evil Eye, Experience Plunder, and Soul Inquiry.
 
Slowly becoming more and more overpowered as he continues to kill evil, Tom makes the world a better place based on his sense of morality.
