Fearing mutual annihilation, humans, gods, devils, and demi-humans set aside their differences, forging an unprecedented alliance to slay the warring dragons.

With great sacrifice and courage, they succeeded. The souls of the Dark Dragon and the White Dragon, however, did not find peace. Instead, they awaited their chance to reincarnate, their destinies bound to new hosts chosen from among humanity.

Now, as the world enters its two-thousandth year of peace, the White Dragon has found its bearer—a young warrior named Ryuji.
