Zeph is an ordinary salaryman with a simple, unremarkable life - going to office and enjoying quiet evenings with his wife, Renna. For him, nothing is more fulfilling than his simple life with his dear wife.

But in this world, Thear, not everything is as peaceful because mysterious powers shape this realm. Among them are Angels and Fiends, followers of gods. Some use their power for greater good, while others create chaos. Still, for Zeph, they are either momentary whispers or distant myths.

Until one night.

That night, his peace is torn apart by a group of shadows with unknown but undeniably powerful origins. Renna is captured, and having his only shine in life taken away, he breaks. Barely surviving the onslaught, the man who once found comfort in the quiet simplicity of his life, now finds himself devoured by rage. Driven to save her, Zeph picks up a gun and goes on a violent, maddening revenge.

I look up, my blood heating up with rage. A faint illusion of golden wings appears behind my back. My legs tremble, but not my voice. "Run and hide, rats... But remember. One day, I will knock at your doors. Each of yours... And when I do, you will feel a fear that destroys all your peace. Just like you did to me. And you are the first in line, snake."
