During an attack on his village at the age 16, Kaelan lost his family and narrowly escaped death thanks to his younger sister’s magical sacrifice. Decades later, he becomes an accomplished mage, relentlessly hunting down the demon horde with a thirst for vengeance, only to be fatally wounded by a demon queen who bears a mystical earring. However, upon his death, he awakens in his ten year old form 30 years in the past and in his hand- the jewel of his former enemy.

Kaelan now has the chance to rewrite history. Despite his young body, he retains his knowledge and skills, using them to secretly develop his magic. As he encounters past friends and family, he wrestles with the trauma of knowing their fates, deciding to prepare for the inevitable demon invasion that destroyed his village and home.
