easily. However, their existence has always been shrouded in secrecy, hidden from the
world of humans and governed by strict traditions that dictate their destinies. Adri’s story
depicts her mother and father’s desperate attempts to free her of her accursed destiny.
Her curiosity and desire for freedom leaves her vulnerable when she meets Kellan, a
human, who shares her curiosity and zest for life. They quickly form a connection that
transcends the barriers of their disparate worlds, but Kellan’s humanity proves to be his
