The story follows Kazuki, a 17-year-old boy neglected by his mother and severely beaten by his alcoholic father. His life is an endless cycle of abuse and abandonment. At school, he’s bullied and shunned by his classmates, who see him as weak and pitiful. One day, Kazuki and his class are suddenly transported to another world (Isekai). In this new world, the rest of his classmates receive incredible powers suited to them, becoming heroes meant to save the world from an impending calamity. Kazuki, however, gets nothing—he is labeled an anomaly.
