Elijah Kincaid, a lazy and rebellious sixteen year old boy, was a normal high school teenager who like most teenagers he hated school, his grades were average at best and he hated everything.

Elijah was a good person he stood up for those who were afraid to stand up for themselves he often got into fights with so many bullies he was even named the School King, which he didn't care about that much for that reason he got into so much trouble so many times his school record is worse than an average criminal's record.

Elijah was also part of a school group that investigated supernatural activity but he didn't believe in that, he only joined because it was the only thing that allowed him to slack off and sleep whenever he wants.

But things took an unexpected turn of events when Elijah was forced the supernatural when a fear demonic monsters called a Dread possessed his friend. 

With the help of mysterious rescuers, Elijah discovers that he can wield a powerful scythe making him a target for recruitment by the Dread Exorcists, an elite team of exorcists who fight against the fear demons.

With the help of Ora North and Gordon York, Elijah goes on a journey to fight against these unknown monsters who seem to evolve almost each and every single time.

The trio forms a loyal and trustworthy reliable friendship with each other and along with every foe and ally of both the Dreads and different organisations, on their adventures they discover the reason why was Elijah the one who inherited the scythe and not anyone else.

While exposing dark secrets about the history and origins of the Dreads while Elijah's power increase exponentially.
