Adrian Yorke is stuck in a dead-end job as a janitor for a big corporation in New York City. Overworked and underappreciated, his life hits rock bottom when he catches his girlfriend cheating with his boss. Frustrated and ready to call it quits for good, Adrian plans to end it all.
But then, everything changes.
A strange event sweeps across the globe, causing people to fall into comas. Some wake up with crazy new powers, while others turn into mindless, violent mutants. Just as Adrian thinks he’s about to check out for good, a weird screen pops up in front of him.
