In a world that was once peaceful, it has now plunged into darkness due to the Curse of the Flower that spreads mercilessly. This curse transforms humans into creatures known as Blight Walkers / Ekibyō no Hokosha—those who walk carrying disease and calamity. They no longer recognize themselves, trapped in the abyss of pain caused by the curse. With every petal that blooms, more souls fall into the abyss, consumed by the desire to destroy anything in their path.

However, amid this desolation, there is still hope. Those who have survived the curse are known as Finire. Blessed with strength and resilience, they stand as the last bastion against the lurking threat. Their task is not only to survive but to eradicate the Ekibyō no Hokosha, restore the balance that has been lost, and end the suffering that continues to burn.

This is the story of Eira's journey in hunting down Ekibyo no Hokosha, who terrorizes human lives.
