In the land of Hedonia, where having magic determines how important you are, a young boy named Zin Maverick is heartbroken when he's labeled as a Zero-ranked Mage—a Zilch, considered to have no magical powers and no value. But Zin is actually the reincarnation of Caius, a very old and famous mage who once caused the downfall of the magical land of Westeria because of his big dreams.
