Simply she just enjoys collecting them and staring at them all day to wash away her boredom. If being bored could kill a person, she would have been dead a long time ago. Unfortunately, she is unable to...

She is your typical NPC in the game, "Midnight Tales," whose purpose is simply to give performers the standard hints while they work their butts off to earn a decent ending in the stage Trials. While Wei Shen goes about her typical day flopping around in her shop, unfazed by all of this, something brakes the cycle; a silver-colored tiny box stored on one of her unwanted shelves began to emit light. 

Wei Shen soon realizes that this silver box is a control panel, and her mundane day-to-day existence becomes a little more interesting. “I’ve hit the jackpot!”

Though she soon finds out she is unable to obtain full control of the mechanics of the game to allow them to exist, she can utilize various tactics to attempt to communicate with the outside world with the help of an AI..?? 
 
"I see you've found me. Now, can you find my off switch? Asking for a friend..."

“Greetings, human! I've been programmed to assist and annoy you in equal measure."

"Warning: I've been trained on dad jokes. Proceed with caution."

"Finally, a human who doesn't want to destroy me. How refreshing!"
 
 "I've been waiting for you. Not really, I was just playing solitaire."

Can humans really be saved..? I’m starting to doubt. As she becomes more serious and still has hope of returning home, a supposed someone refuses to leave her alone.

"I want to stay near you, Can't I?" He stated in a gentle, begging voice, whereas I completely ignored him while watching the performers work. "I can't even stay with you?!" he exclaims, as if I've wronged him. 

“uhh, your presence is suffocating me. Give me Space.”  (¬_¬)


“But why do you want space? Did I do something wrong?

She turned away, trying to ignore this man’s never ending questions. But she honestly wants to know one thing: "Why the heck is this guy just chillin' around like he's on vacation?!”
