However, over time, mortals grew discontent with their subjugation and aspired to govern themselves. Recognizing this desire for autonomy, the angels graciously abdicated their rule. Some chose to remain on Earth, blending into mortal society, while others dispersed throughout the cosmos. Centuries passed, and the seals of the Nether began to weaken. The Great Darkness stirred, dispatching acolytes to find a means of liberation. Sensing the looming threat, humanity took decisive action by forming the Hunter Association, a dedicated organization committed to combating the sinister forces of the Great Darkness and preserving the fragile peace of the universe.
