Alex Devereaux was an ordinary young man, enjoying a day at the beach, when a sudden rip current pulled him under the waves. Nearing death, he encountered an ancient, biblical being—the Leviathan. In its dying moments, the Leviathan granted Alex its immense power and entrusted him with an egg, its heir. As Alex emerges from the ocean, transformed and burdened with this new responsibility, he finds himself thrust into a world teeming with angels, demons, Nephilim, and other biblical beings.
