A 26-year-old male, Akihiro Yamamoto, was ensnared in a serious schedule of 12-hour work shifts, his daily life becoming inexorably tied one to the next by an ever-growing fatigue. One evening, as he left for home together with his colleagues, he was invited to a party. He lives alone and has no commitment to care for except himself. He then accepted their invitation. Not that he drank much; he was trying to keep a clear head, but the evening darkened into a nightmare as he made ready to leave.

His co-worker, trying to force Akihiro to stay a little bit longer, caught him at the door. Akihiro respectfully declined, wanting to rest for his next shift. This refusal turned his co-worker into an angry person who, in a fit of drunken rage, grabbed a broken glass and stabbed Akihiro. As Akihiro's vision dimmed and pain radiated through his body, there was an odd sense of detachment that washed over him. Memories of a simpler, happier time floated through his mind. With each breath, consciousness faded, not aware yet that his journey was far from over. He would be about to undertake an extraordinary adventure—reborn in another world, blessed by a goddess, and set on a path that would forever change his destiny.
