Ryan was only fifteen when it happened the invasion or as he called it the outer war, he was not old enough to go and fight in the war or at least he thought but it turned out that the combined military forces of earth were not enough for the invasion that came from beyond the stars until the head general of the military (vixen) the strongest fighter the forces had so far was talking to the president of earth about letting anyone age fifteen  or older into the force to help win the war for earth luckily she was able to persuade the president to allow the forces to bring in people fifteen or older
