Timur have divided the plateau. Earlier, the Mongols, Turks and Saracens either conqueredthe entire plateau, or Divide the plateau from other regimes. But in the mountains of Azerbaijan,
in an obscure town of Ardabil, an empire that would rule the entire Greater Persia and even
more territories would be born here, playing its own music at the crossroads of the old world.
