Elves with their superior craftsmanship were disgusted by their cheap properties. Sirens and their song laughed at their petty music. Vampires and their gemstones spat out their blood and the humans... let's just say they lied and warred and we're greedy.

Kaelin, king of the fae tired of his court. Each sentence was either a thinly veiled insults or lie. He would gladly destroy everything but for the secret he holds. Something caught his attention lately, a dirty ragged human beauty. He would do away with her except for the nagging feeling in his chest.
