Jade Carter is an ordinary high schooler with an extraordinary obsession: comic books, particularly the *X-Men*. But this isn't the comic book world he fantasized about—this is his real life, and it’s messier, scarier, and far more dangerous than he ever expected.  

As Jade struggles to control his newfound abilities and unravel the mystery of how and why he mutated, he must navigate friendships, family dynamics, and his feelings for Michaela while learning what it truly means to be a hero. When sinister forces emerge, targeting his powers and his loved ones, Jade will need to rise above his fears and become the hero he always idolized.
