All at once, eight of them rushed on him but fell to the ground lifeless. Carl straightened his face, his aura radiating out, and his eyes were like that of a wild beast hunting a prey at night. The red colour of his eyes shone in the darkness and the rest of the assassins couldn’t move a muscle out of fright.  

" Carl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Just give up, surrender and come out with your hands up. We have you completely surrounded. Give up and pay the price of your betrayal." Dean shouted.

No sound could be heard. There was no fidgeting as they waited. No one moved. Many of them prayed within themselves that he would surrender, so that they would not have to engage in a fight with the Lazy General. Carl's might was well known and many stories exaggerated his conquest. 

Carl seethed with anger, he never, not even once betrayed the empire. His every battle and every effort was to the betterment of the empire. And here he was being accused falsely. 

" I must live to find out who is behind all this." He resolved.
