Emma Chris is a driven and achieved entrepreneur; she finds herself drowned by her demanding high-profile career and a failed relationship. Emma arrives at the secluded island resort, immediately astonished by its unexploited natural beauty and serene atmosphere. 

She meets a man named Gabriel Black, and she can't help but feel she has met him before. She later discovers he is the charismatic and wealthy owner of the island, Emma senses a deeper, darker layer to Gabriel's personality and life, one he keeps guarded from prying eyes.
