Rintarou Maruki, a student who moves to Kyoto, is caught up in a series of supernatural events after discovering a cursed CD that takes him to a parallel world inside a TV.  There, he and his friends face strange creatures and discover hidden powers.  They find themselves linked to a brutal crime - the murder of actress Nobumi Takemi - that may have connections to this alternative world.  Maruki has a dream encounter with an entity called Osiris, who suggests that he possesses a latent power called Sourmany.  Now, they must deal with the implications of their discoveries and protect each other from the dangers that lurk both on and off the TV.
