Growing up with her wealthy aunt and uncle in London, Alora grew up to a secluded life where she had little to no friends - isolated from the outside world. Not only was she alone, but she was on watch 24/7. Despite not knowing the reason as to why they were protective or more like secretive over her, she continued her life assuming it was for safety reasons. But overtime her aunt and uncle became distant and their peculiar behaviour only increased. 
Not only did she now have to deal with their exedingly strange behaviour, she also had to be wary of the shadow.
It was always following her, but whenever she turned around there was nothing there
