This character will not change her mind about romance this is about her coming into her power and making something for herself 

she is a villian like maleficent not evil just look at things from her perspective and then others

this will be a world with similar views like in one piece she will be like the pirates or revolutionary army and the kingdoms are navy and ‘gods’
