It was in her bloodline to protect the one who takes the blood oath as binding the blood oath and they became slaves of the protector. The bloodline unleashes the power accordingly, as Myhra's bloodline enable the vampires to see in daylight, and allow them to eat food and experience a human life which could turn ordinary to extraordinary depending upon the the bond of oath.

She killed a Zhelis, a shadow servant who serves the Dark King, his death would have consequences. By killing the Zhelis, Myhra had unknowingly set into motion a chain of events that would affect everything. It was a catalyst—one that would awaken the tale of many, whose fates had long been intertwined with the powers of the bloodline.
